Pavilitium is a non-film-forming liquid for consolidation in aqueous solution that is based on lithium silicates. Pavilitium penetrates the cortical layer of the concrete to a depth from approx. 10 mm to over 30 mm producing a crystal lattice that densifies, strengthens and increases the mechanical qualities of the cortical layer of concrete concrete flooring. This reaction determines an increase in the surface mechanical strength of the concrete flooring, improving resistance to both abrasion and compression. The product also improves chemical resistance, reduces absorbency and exhibits effective dustproof qualities.
STRENGTHS
- Highly densifying action that increases the surface strength of the concrete
- It reduces absorption by the surface
- Non film-forming treatment that creates an attractive “polished” finish
- Prevents the occurrence of efflorescence
- It increases the resistance of the flooring to freeze thaw cycles and weathering
- It is effective to create a dust free surface
- It protects the flooring from the alkali – aggregate reaction
